Grace Heck has been training and competing in Agility for over 10 years.  She started the sport with her mixed breed Riley who achieved a PACH, took her to Westminster, and retired his career in the Speedstakes Final at the US Open.  5 dogs (3 of whom are Border Collies) later, it's safe to say Riley got her hooked!  Grace loves travelling the world and competing with her amazing teammates, Finnick, Rue, and Ember.

As a coach, Grace is known for her attention to detail, and ability to hone in on tiny adjustments to handling that make a big impact.  Her students also love her systematic approach to breaking any exercise down, ensuring that the dog fully understands each skill under a variety of influences before building it up into a broader sequence.  Grace knows first hand how much the mental state of both the dog, and the handler, impact their success in this sport.  It's a topic she's incredibly passionate about, and something that finds its way into every class she teaches.
